Borderlands 3 Release Date May Have Just Been Leaked By Gearbox

Rumors have been flying about Borderlands 3's Epic Games Store release since a leaked tweet was spotted by eagle-eyed viewers. Blast your way through new worlds and enemies as one of four brand new Vault Hunters, each with deep skill trees, abilities, and customization. The deleted post shows a few seconds of "Borderlands" footage followed by the Epic Games logo. With savings like that, you may as well get stocked up on Borderlands games to hold you over until the next installment in the series releases. There's a stupefying amount of guns in-game, with Gearbox saying there are "bazillions more" to come, not only on Pandora, but other planets throughout the Borderlands.

Steam users are review bombing past Borderlands games in response to the PC version of Borderlands 3 being a six-month Epic Games Store exclusive. The first three editions are available on PC; the Collector's Edition appears to be limited to consoles and includes some real-life bonuses. It will launch on consoles and the Epic Games Store on September 13 but won't be available on other PC platforms until April 2020.

Will you be grabbing Borderlands 3 on September 13th?

Much of what is going to happen on April 3 remains a mystery; however, we do know that several other Borderland projects will be launching on that date. Gearbox are saying for Borderlands 3 that they've tweaked the system, allowing high and low level players to join together and all have a good time, dealing meaningful damage and getting the kind of loot their level requires. And to take them down players can choose new classes like mech soldier Moze, Amara and her ghost fists, a hitman who can clone himself, and a robot with pets. In Borderlands 3, you'll be able to toggle separate loot on and off, depending on how you want to play. It really is a great deal, as you will get hours and hours of fun out of both of these games, and that's before you factor in all of the DLC content that is included in the package.
