Kangana slams Ranbir for not taking stand on politics

The queen of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut recently enjoyed a huge success with her last flick Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

Reacting to Kareena Kapoor Khan's statement that she is looking forward to Kangana's biopic, the Manikarnika star said, "Kareena is lovely and she is one of those graceful and dignified people I always admire".

At the launch of the trailer for his upcoming RAW film, John Abraham was asked about Kangana Ranaut's statement that actors should talk about political issues. So, why should I comment about politics?'. I heard Ranbir Kapoor telling someone, 'I have my supply of water and electricity. I feel you shouldn't distance yourself from issues of the country.

"But as I said, if only you are politically aware... you should not be stupidly talented".

Meanwhile, talking about Hrithik's denial of even "knowing" her, she slammed him saying, "Talking about this so-called case which never actually happened, here's a person I have worked within two films".

The actress was referring to a 2018 interview where Ranbir was asked why he stays away from making political statements.

She was speaking at a media conference when she poured her thoughts out.

The actor replied that he doesn't follow politics since it makes no difference to his life. Kangana has impressed the audience time and again with her roles in films such as Queen, Krrish, Rangoon, Tanu Weds Manu, and many more. "In a democracy you should talk about your political inclination, and how much do they love their careers that they don't give a damn about their country". During a media interaction, she said that she has a special someone in life now, and at her position right now she doesn't need regular dating and wants a companionship that can inspire her life. "If there is electricity and water coming in my home that doesn't mean I don't care about anyone else". She said that "yeh desh ki waja se aap ka ghar hai...how can you talk like that?" I think our stand is very clear that we are going to reciprocate the way we are dealt with.

On the film front, Kangana will be next seen in "Mental Hai Kyaa?" opposite Rajkummar Rao, slated to release in May.
