Other than presenting an award, BTS will also be attending the ceremony as nominees for the Best Recording Package category in recognition of the cover art for their album Love Yourself: Tear. This is the first time staff of a Korean album has been nominated for a Grammy Award.

Variety did not reveal details of the award in its report.

It is unknown which award BTS will present, but the band's name started trending worldwide on Twitter shortly after the news broke.

Members RM, Jin, Suga, V, Jimin, J-Hope and Jungkook made waves on the global stage in 2018, gaining numerous accolades inside and outside of music. They debuted in 2013, and they are now conquering the music scene all over the globe.


Love Yourself: Tear's nomination in the Grammys serves as a breakthrough milestone in the K-Pop industry. The lovely and talented Alicia Keys will host the iconic award show that will be loaded with A-list stars from top to bottom.

Kendrick Lamar leads the night's nominations with eight nods, swiftly followed by Drake's seven and Brandi Carlile's six. In fact, we're starting to think that RADIO.COM bringing together BTS and BSB last year could actually lead to some fantastic things this year. It was also recently announced that Maren Morris, Little Big Town, and Katy Perry will perform with Dolly Parton and Ricky Martin, while J Balvin, and Young Thug will open the show with Camila Cabello.

South Korean boyband BTS will reportedly present an award at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on February 10, marking the septet's debut appearance at music's biggest night.
