Arsenal have only managed to win three of their last six Premier League games to lose ground on Chelsea FC in the battle to secure Champions League football next term.

Arsenal have won their last three Premier League games against the Hammers but Emery's side have struggled on the road in recent weeks. We have taken more care in our training and pre-match planning. "We can use the players in the match on Saturday after a week of rest".

According to Goal, Suarez has been "convinced" by Emery, who was in charge at Sevilla when the player enjoyed a successful loan spell there during the 2014/15 season. "At the moment, we haven't had any news today about that".

Arsenal have already been tipped to pursue the services of Denis Suarez from Barcelona but they are experiencing a similar predicament with the Spanish club wanting a straight-cash deal for the Spaniard.

" I don't know his situation now".

Five players were signed last summer - Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi - but all came in for a total outlay of less than £75million.

"I know the club is working on possibilities of which players can help us with big performances like we need now".

Emery also praised the attitude of Aaron Ramsey as the Wales global continues to be linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium.

"His future belongs to him, his family and agent".

Paul Merson is tipping Arsenal to drop points at West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

"I don't know now his [Suarez's] situation but we can only sign on a loan", Emery said.

Hector Bellerin, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Laurent Koscielny, Mesut Ozil, Nacho Monreal and Shkodran Mustafi all returned from their respective injuries during the week and Emery now has more options to choose from while naming his first XI against Manuel Pellegrini's side.
