With Christmas nearly upon us, here is a quick rundown on what's going to be open and closed around the holidays.

Most LCBO locations will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and remain closed on December 27, except the one at Stone Road and Scottsdale Drive.

So, whether you're looking for fireworks, a workout or even Santa's reindeer - we have the time between Christmas and New Year's Eve all wrapped up.

The Hood River News office will be closed at noon on December 24 and all day on December 25, and at 3 p.m. on December 31 and closed January 1.

¯ Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County branches will be closed on Christmas Day.


On Christmas Eve, there will be a Saturday service, with a gradual reduction of journeys from 6pm and no services running after 8pm.

If a collection does not occur on the scheduled day during this period, the materials should be left out until collection occurs.
