Bernardo Silva admits Manchester City are facing a tough winter schedule but he wouldn't have it any other way.

Bernardo Silva has challenged his Manchester City team-mates to race ahead at the top of the Premier League table by the New Year. Silva, 24, joined at the beginning of last season from French side Monaco and the Portuguese midfielder said the busy period took some getting used to. It is that sort of month where it is game after game after game and a relentless schedule, so let's try and use this win to give us confidence to perform well against Liverpool.

"It's a little bit different because both countries where I played before, Portugal and France, we had a Christmas break". I was pleased to see our attacking play looking so unsafe early in the game.

City maintained their strong start to the season on Tuesday night with a hard-fought victory away to Watford. Pep Guardiola made six changes to his starting line-up despite also missing Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne through injury.

Guardiola said his side will learn from the game after missing chances to kill off the game before the late drama.

"We knew it was very demanding for us". 'It's good to change the players and not see the difference and still get important wins like the one against Watford. "All our rivals are doing better this season than last season".

Callum's is a really good finish from a quick ball in from Ryan and then trademark us really for the second goal, an excellent move and finish from Ryan.

There have been suggestions that City could be banned from next season's Champions League if they are found guilty of circumventing FFP regulations.

Terence Kongolo pulled a goal back for the visitors before half-time but for all their running and hopeful balls into the penalty area, Huddersfield lacked the sort of clinical finish that Wilson has delivered so often for Bournemouth this season, helping the Cherries pick up all three points.

"Well, Uefa is doing what I think it is doing and if it finds something the club will make a statement, ..."

"We managed the game pretty well".
