That's not to say that the league is out of reach, but it will be a very hard task to recover the deficit.

Maurizio Sarri suggested that Chelsea could decide Eden Hazard's future for him in January if the Belgian continues to delay talks over a new contract.

Moses beamed with nostalgia: "It was unbelievable - I thought it was going to go to extra-time and then he took on three players and they thought he was going to cross the ball, and then he just let it go!"

Eden Hazard reached 101 goals for Chelsea as the Blues edged out Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road on Boxing Day, but the travelling fans reacted angrily when Hudson-Odoi was brought off with five minutes to play.

"I can not see a problem of Hazard in this role".

Sarri has insisted the need for Hazard's situation to be resolved.

"Sarri told me before the season started that playing as a number nine could be an option", Hazard told Chelsea's official club website. "I don't know if he prefers to play as a winger but if he is able to play like in the last match in the centre, for me it's not a problem to put him in the centre".

Hazard did play through the middle at times under previous manager Antonio Conte, but he failed to stand out and often grew frustrated, dropping into deeper positions.

"Now we have to think about Crystal Palace".

"I can not see a problem of Hazard in this role".

"He is a great player", Sarri continued.

Wilfried Zaha is likely to spearhead the Palace attack for the Super Sunday clash at Selhurst Park - and the Eagles' win over Leicester this month was their first Premier League success without the forward for more than two years. Have your say in the comment section below.
