Spice Girls to announce reunion for United Kingdom tour without Victoria Beckham

The 46-year-old Spice Girls star added fuel to the fire of fans' excitement yesterday when she posed for snaps on a carousel in Brighton.

The Spice Girls have confirmed that they're reuniting for a six-date United Kingdom tour next summer, following months of relentless speculation - but they won't be joined by their bandmate Victoria Beckham. The announcement had been built up throughout the day, and Victoria Beckham - although not taking part in the reunion - is very much supportive of her friend's going ahead without her.

The Spice Girls are only stopping in the United Kingdom on this tour, but TMZ teased that the group might come to the U.S. at a later date.

The tour will mark the first time the group has performed together since the 2012 Olympics.

The tour will kick off at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on 1 June, before calling at Coventry's Ricoh Stadium two days later, the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on 6 June, BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on 8 June, Bristol's Ashton Gate Stadium on 10 June, and ends on 15 June at London's Wembley Stadium. But she hinted that Beckham would not be joining in on the '90s fun.

Victoria Beckham was absent from the clip. They go on sale this Saturday (10 November) at 10.30am.

One person notably missing is Posh Spice.

They have since released a variety of hit singles, such as 2 Become 1, Say You'll Be Thetre, Viva Forever, Spice Up Your Life and Who Do You Think You Are.

Baby Spice Emma Bunton, Sporty Spice Mel C, Scary Spice Mel B and Ginger Spice Geri have kept details of the reunion secret for months.

Mel B hinted at the tour minus Beckham last week on Halloween when she went dressed as her with the placard 'No I am not going on tour'.

The reunion tour has been teased for a while now.

Their debut album Spice is estimated to have sold more than 23 million copies worldwide, becoming the best-selling album of all time by a female group.

The four appeared, without "Posh Spice" Victoria Beckham, in a spoof video sharing the news of the tour.

Asked if they'll go outside of the United Kingdom, she said: "We are".
