West's appearance was a particularly weird moment for the White House this week, according to reports.

During today's meeting at the White House, Kanye explained that the headpiece makes him feel like Superman.

Surrounded by flashing cameras, West's remarks came before a planned lunch at the White House where they would discuss the manufacturing resurgence, how to prevent gang violence, and reducing violent crime in Chicago, where West grew up.

Trump, who has had low approval ratings from African-Americans, often links the support of West and Brown to his administration's relationship with the black community.

What's bitterly ironic about West's praise for Trump is that the president has far more in common with Superman's arch-enemy Lex Luthor.

West also used the opportunity to applaud Mr Trump's efforts with North Korea and said he liked the country. "That's my favorite superhero".

Addressing the topic Thursday, West said he had at one point been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but was later told by a neuropsychologist he'd been misdiagnosed.

Kanye West and Donald Trump met again on Thursday in the Oval Office, a highly publicized sit-down that included the press, a warm embrace between the two, and a new 10-minute rant from the rapper in which he called himself a "crazy motherf**ker". "That's one thing, I've never stepped into a situation where I didn't make people more money". "So we made an updated hat that said 'Make America Great, ' and Trump wore the hat so he is open to adjusting and listening", West said, according to video posted to Twitter by CNN reporter Caroline Kelly.

West and Trump have a friendship that goes back to before the 2016 presidential election. "You made a Superman cape for me".

"I tell you what, that was pretty impressive", Trump said after West seemed to run out of steam.

After West finished speaking, Trump said: "That was quite something".

"The problem is illegal guns, not legal guns", West responded. I want to hear what Kanye West wants to do when we're talking about criminal justice reform or prisoner reentry - the fact is he can not. "I just channeled it", West said.

West is married to reality television star Kim Kardashian West, who successfully pushed Trump to grant a pardon to a drug offender earlier this year.

To which West replied, "Only after 2024".

"We have to stop pretending... like this is normal", Lemon said. "I love this guy", West said.
