Chelsea will bid to their keep their 100 per cent Premier League record intact when Cardiff City visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Loftus-Cheek is a doubt for the game against Cardiff as Chelsea return to Premier League action following the worldwide break.

'He's a target man, maybe the best in the world I think, ' said Hazard.

Chelsea sits at the top of the table along with Liverpool and Watford after winning four out of four opening Premier League matches so far. "For the moment, I'm really very happy to stay here".

"Our goal is to be the best team in England but it will take time".

The next three weeks see Chelsea open their Europa League and League Cup campaigns alongside their Premier League commitments, a congested fixture list which sees seven games played in quick succession. "I am very open with him because of his history with the club, he's won everything with the club so it's up to him".

Surmising that the decision is Terry's alone tonight, Sarri highlighted his own awareness of what the Chelsea defender of nearly two decades means to the club, and how happy he would be to welcome him 'home'.

Sarri said the midfielder had returned with a "little problem" with his right leg. At 37-years-old, retirement could be on the horizon, but he doesn't appear to be done just yet.

Jorginho and Kepa Arrizabalaga were the only players to join the club for a transfer fee, with back-up goalkeeper Rob Green joining for free and Mateo Kovacic arriving on loan from Real Madrid.

"I was training every day".

The Italian boss now boasts an unbeaten record in his first four league games with the Blues, but is wary of dropping points after a host of players took part in global duty having experienced a poor return with Napoli during his time with the Serie A outfit.

Next up for the Blues is a trip to pointless West Ham and six wins out of six is certainly not out of the question.
