Wilfried Zaha Wants Chelsea Transfer

Crystal Palace forward, Wilfried Zaha has reportedly told his Crystal Palace team-mates of his determination to seal a move to Chelsea before the transfer deadline.

Zaha could have been seen as a direct replacement for Willian, the Brazil worldwide has been heavily linked with a departure from Chelsea this summer.

If Willian indeed ends up parting ways with Chelsea this summer, Pedro will be the only recognised winger at Maurizio Sarri's disposal in addition to Hazard.

The former United player has turned down an improved offer of £125,000 a week deal in a bid to keep him at Selhurst Park.

The Mirror claims that Zaha has rejected the offer of a contract extension with the Eagles, having signed a new deal just 15 months previously.

He has already snubbed interest from Everton as he is reluctant to move north again, after a failed stint with Manchester United.

Mauricio Pochettino is yet to make a single signing this summer but the Tottenham boss is expected to be busy over the coming days trying to strengthen his squad and Zaha was among the players on his radar. Zaha is thus, a viable target, who will bolster the Blues' attack irrespective of the Brazilian's departure.

But, according to Guardian Sport, Crystal Palace are determined that they will not sell Zaha.

Tottenham have long held an interest in the talented winger, while Chelsea have also emerged as a potential destination for the player.

Chelsea appear to be winning the race for Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.

It would require a huge offer to convince Palace to part with Zaha, without whom they are a significantly inferior team.
