Samsung has already launched its 2018 flagship smartphones. The new member, Galaxy Note 9 comes with a bigger display, the upgraded S Pen, bigger battery, bigger storage and bigger display. In India, the device received a price cut of Rs 12,000. Here are the details, specifications, price and launch date of Galaxy Note 9 in India.

The Pre-orders of the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone has started in the U.S. from Friday (10th August) and it will be available on August 24th. The smartphone was unveiled at an event in NY earlier this month, and since then, it had gone up for pre-orders in India - revealing its price.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (128 GB) will be available on the Airtel online store at a down payment of Rs 7,900 and an EMI of Rs 2,999 - built-in with a monthly postpaid plan.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy A6+ features a 6-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2220 pixel resolution and 18:5:9 aspect ratio. This means that since its launch the Samsung Galaxy A6+ has got a total price cut of Rs 4,000. In the camera department, the device comes with a dual 12-megapixel camera setup with dual optical image stabilization. As for any handset with Go power, the Galaxy J4 Core packs a 1GB RAM and 1.4 GHz quad-core chipset from Qualcomm. Customers can also get 6,000 INR Paytm cashback on buying via Paytm Mall.

The base model of the Galaxy Note 9 will cost an eye-watering Rs. 67900, which features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the 8GB RAM + 512GB storage model will cost Rs. 84900.


According to Anshul Gupta, Research Director at Gartner, Galaxy Note 9 pushes further Note series with some innovative features and enhancements.

Samsung newest smartphone, the Galaxy Note 9, will be released in South Africa on Friday. The smartphone is also expected to sport an 8-megapixel sensor on the rear panel and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front for taking selfies.

As for the frame itself, it uses diamond-cut process and is " sleek and slim, and features an interplay of glossy and matte finishes that complement the Galaxy Note9's premium design cues", quips the world's largest phone maker.

The smartphone is available in two variants one with 128GB storage and another with 512GB.
