Google Pixel 3 line may feature wireless charging

A pair of images of a device believed to be the Pixel 3 XL have emerged on the XDADevelopers forum. Apparently, Google is planning to add dual front cameras (at least that's what it looks like) to the Pixel 3 XL.

Its bootloader indicates the device could sport 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The front offers a large display with slim bezels all around and a small chin on the bottom. In a nutshell, the rear of the device isn's very different from that of the Pixel 2 XL save for the position of the LED flash and laser focus module.

31/5/18: Just days after we got our first glimpse at Google's Pixel 3 and 3 XL, Bloomberg is reporting that the handsets will make their official debut in October. A previous report claimed that the phone could have a notch, as well as two front-facing cameras. On the back, it still has a single rear camera along with a fingerprint scanner.

Following a few low-quality images that leaked Thursday morning, xda-developers has published a new set of leaked photos that give us a much better look at Google's next-generation flagship phablet, the Pixel 3 XL. Since acquiring HTC engineers involved in the making of the Pixel 2 as well as intellectual property rights from HTC, it seems like Google has what they need to continue implementing the Pixel 2's squeeze feature in future smartphones. Since Android 4.2 Jelly Bean's release, the operating system has provided support for wireless charging but it is disappointing that it took Google this long to potentially bring it to the Pixel 3 lineup.

According to leaker meraz9000, the device will have a glass back. Further, there is a USB Type-C port a the bottom of the device and to the left, there's the SIM card tray.

This is easily the most exciting Pixel 3 leak we've seen to date, but again, it's unsubstantiated.

Tipster OnLeaks revealed on Twitter that Pixel 3 will feature a 5.3-inch screen, while the Pixel 3 XL will come with a bigger 6.2-inch display.
