Brazil's defender Marcelo (centre) reacts after getting injured during the Russian Federation 2018 World Cup Group E football match between Serbia and Brazil at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow on June 27, 2018.

Guardado has subsequently urged the officials to keep an eye on Neymar in Samara on Monday.

Neymar "likes to exaggerate fouls", says Mexican defender Andres Guardado.

He added: "We embraced the expectation and I wanted them to play like they played against Croatia and Austria [in friendly matches], but the World Cup brings out different characteristics".

"There's no greater memory than making history with a fifth match".

"We have to leave to one side everything we did wrong against Sweden and analyse everything positive we can to take into this game, which many of my teammates have said is the game of our lives", he said.

They still have their little problem child Neymar, who is the most expensive player in the world, an unbelievable amount of money was paid to him by PSG and he's still trying to impress everyone with his skills, and still nothing is really happening for Neymar.

Speaking with Le Parisien, the PSG captain clarified that he was "joking" when he told Globo Esporte that he was "saddened" by his club and global teammate's behaviour towards him. The match was originally scheduled to be played on FOX Sports 1.

'It's a joke that I made and the journalists talked about it badly'.

The 2014 World Champions Germany crashed out of this year's World Cup in the group stages following their 2-0 loss to South Korea on Wednesday.
