Warmind is now available and brings some new gear, endgame content and activities for players. When exactly can you start rushing through all the new content? It will officially kick off Season 3 of Destiny 2.

It also brings new playable content in Crucible: Bungie is ditching the DLC ownership requirement for all maps in matchmaking.

Players are reporting not being able to access their latest purchase, even though it has been installed on their console. The PC version of the expansion is available exclusively on Battle.net, Blizzard Entertainment's acclaimed online-gaming platform.

This is a slightly more complicated question, as Bungie can't guarantee an exact release time. Destiny 2 game is required to play, and is sold separately. Bungie estimates that maintenance will conclude by 11 AM PT.

Pre-loading began at 7 AM Pacific Time on Tuesday.

So when can you start playing Destiny 2: Warmind? That should get you sorted ahead of the launch later today.

Full patch notes won't be shared on Bungie's website until closer to release.

If you want to own both the Warmind and the previous Curse of Osiris expansion, you can pick them up for $35. For players seeking an extremely challenging experience, Warmind includes an all-new endgame activity called Escalation Protocol.

The Requires Armory Code hatches are frequently found near where public events or Escalation Protocols are taking place. That said, you can join one that's in-progress before seeing the end credits roll. It will also give you the opportunity to try your hands on some new weapon type. It was also a point of contention when calculating which fireteam beat the raid first when it launched, so without the glitch, the title of "World's First" should be easy to award for the upcoming raid lair, Spire of Stars.
