Leaked teaser confirms Rage 2

Well, it is. Rage 2 is officially happening, and here's the teaser trailer to whet your appetite.

Video game stories from other sites on the web. The Twitter captures, however, remain.

Well, this certainly lends credence to the Walmart leak from last week. Aside from Bethesda teasing an official disclose for might 14, little else is known at this juncture.

Two days ago, Walmart Canada appeared to leak several games by posting listings on their online store. Avalanche's involvement makes me approximately infinity times more interested by the prospect of this sequel. The retailer published a list of games, some of which hadn't been announced, to its website. We do know that the bladed boomerang will return.

Rage might be getting a sequel. Vehicular races and battles were a big part of the original Rage. It was a visually stunning game and very graphically impressive, particularly for its time.

As well as its visuals, Rage impressed with its combat and enemy AI.

Rage is a first-person shooter which takes place in a post-apocalyptic future.

Hey look at that... the Walmart.ca leak was apparently somewhat correct after all (especially since the RAGE Twitter account also kinda confirmed the existence of the game afterwards anyway). "Leaving you to your own devices to stay alive in a world filled with those who prefer you dead, RAGE combines powerful storytelling with heart-pounding action".

In the trailer you can see the high quality details and graphics that the game will come equipped with. We'd like to see Rage 2 try this for itself. However, there looks to be a clip in today's trailer that sees the player inside his auto with a first-person perspective. Especially if it does have a more open world. But with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Spider-Man already cued for release towards the end of the year, it would be interesting to see if Rage 2 does indeed release this year. Beyond that, we now know very little, but Bethesda will surely give Rage 2 a big unveiling at this year's E3 Show in Los Angeles in June.
