Fortnite: Where to Find Thanos

Starting today, Fortnite is releasing a special event where players will go on the hunt for the all-mighty Infinity Gauntlet and see what it's like to be like the mad titan himself.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a competitive mashup of The Hunger Games and Minecraft, where 100 players land on a remote island, collect resources, and attempt to survive as the last person standing. Now, the studio has made a decision to increase the Marvel villain's attacks with a slight buff, while decreasing his vitality in an attempt to better balance the mode for fans of the free-to-play Battle Royale portion of the game. As first noticed by Polygon, one cut Fortnite's Thanos into Star-Lord's dance battle with Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy. The patch decreased Thanos' shield cap from 300 to 200, but raised his max health from 700 to 800. Players can make Thanos retreat in bushes, eat a bucket of popcorn, and even bust a move; the latter of which has become a much-appreciated obsession among Fortnite fans. To do this, select any character within your forte, grab the gauntlet with all six Infinity Stones on the map, it will enable you to become the Big Bad of Titan in the flesh and being able to command the phenomenal abilities of space, mind, reality, power and the soul. As always let us know your thoughts below.

We're glad they did though, the cross-over is a super fun addition to the game.

If you haven't got a chance to play in the new mode yet you better hurry before it's gone. As of now, a quick scan of the game's forums show a common criticism being levied against Thanos having his health reduced, as players are arguing that it defeats the objective of assuming the role of one of the Marvel universe's toughest antagonists.
